The limequat is a crossing between the lime and the kumquat. Limequats are native to China. The fruit is a member of citrofortunella family. The round, almost oval shaped fruit, has a thick and shiny green skin, which tastes sweet. Its yellow pulp is bitter-sweet and contains small edible seeds.
